Insider Network Graph — Nexus of Influence
The Network Graph is Lynx MI's signature visualization tool. It maps the hidden web of relationships between corporate insiders, public companies, members of Congress, Senate committees, lobbying firms, and supply chain partners — revealing influence networks invisible in traditional financial data.
How the Network Works
Our system constructs a force-directed graph from multiple data sources: SEC Form 4 insider filings connect executives to companies, STOCK Act disclosures connect politicians to the stocks they trade, Lobbying Disclosure Act filings connect corporations to lobbying firms and the congressional committees they target, and public supply chain data connects companies to their major customers and suppliers. Each entity becomes a node, and each relationship becomes an edge, creating a rich, interactive map of market influence.
The "Nexus Score" is a proprietary metric that quantifies a company's position within this influence network. It considers the number and quality of connections — how many insiders are board members at other companies, how much lobbying spend targets relevant committees, and whether congressional traders hold positions in related stocks. Companies with high Nexus Scores sit at critical intersections of political and corporate power, making them particularly interesting for investors monitoring regulatory and legislative risk.
